In a bid to strengthen Canlaon City's position as the vegetable basket of Negros Oriental, the local government has approved the expansion of the Agriculture Development Program.
The program will distribute modern farming equipment, high-yield seeds, and organic fertilizers to over 500 local farmers. Additionally, monthly training seminars on sustainable farming practices will be conducted.
The initiative aims to boost local food production and improve the livelihood of agricultural workers across all barangays.
